Accessible by boat only, Milson Island Sport and Recreation Centre is secluded and stunning with sweeping views of the Hawkesbury River at every turn. A state-of-the-art music hall is in demand with choirs, drama and music groups. A kid’s pool, playground and fun games make it ideal for young children.

Chartered ferry

Milson Island Sport and Recreation Centre provides a pick-up service from:

  • Brooklyn Wharf (30 minutes)
  • Kangaroo Point (10 minutes)
  • Deerubbun Reserve (10 minutes)
Please check your booking confirmation to identify the pick-up location for your program. 

Public transport

Brooklyn wharf is accessible from the Hawkesbury River train station on the Newcastle and Central Coast rail line. Check for full timetable information.

There are no public transport options to and from the Kangaroo Point pick-up location.


There is limited public parking at Brooklyn Wharf and Kangaroo Point. Buses can park on the western side of the freeway at the Deerubbin Reserve rest area.
