Just two and a quarter hours west of Canberra, Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre provides a range of services, facilities and accommodation options for school camps, family camps, kids’ camps, corporate training, sport development camps, functions, community groups and more. Nestled in the heart of Riverina farming country close to Wagga Wagga, Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre enjoys a peaceful setting on the banks of Tarcutta Creek. Dominated by flat plains and big skies, large gums dot the landscape and native animals abound, while a mild to warm climate prevails year round.

Public transport

There is no public transport directly to Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre. However, individuals can catch a train to and from Wagga Wagga station, and catch a local taxi to the Centre. Public transport timetable information is available at transportnsw.info.

Schools travelling to and from the Centre for an outdoor education program are eligible to receive significant discounts on rail transport.
