Mentor Training Course

Learn how to foster a purposeful mentoring relationship at the Office of Sport’s Mentor Training course.

Developed by the Australian Sports Commission, this course assists senior coaches and officials to develop important skills in becoming a successful and effective mentor.

Topics include:

  • How does mentoring work in sport
  • Setting up the mentoring relationship
  • Identifying personality strengths and weaknesses
  • Mentoring in action
  • Goal setting
  • How to provide feedback.

This course is not formally assessed but each candidate will receive a certificate acknowledging their completion of the course.
