Swim Instructor (Casual)

Applications for work as a casual Swim Instructor with Sport and Recreation’s Swim and Survive program are now open.

As a casual Swim Instructor your role is to deliver water safety and learn to swim lessons in identified communities and to targeted population groups throughout NSW.

To apply you must hold a current:

  • national learn to swim instructor qualification
  • resuscitation certificate
  • Working With Children Check.

The following form requires you to complete the necessary fields and upload attachments so that your application can be processed.

Catering Officer (casual)

A Catering Officer is responsible for preparing and cooking meals for visitors participating in the Centre’s various programs. You need to adhere to a strict timetable, providing special dietary requirements, maintaining the kitchen and equipment and the preparation of food orders and menus. This is to ensure visitors receive nutritious meals while maintaining a high quality service and quantity control. Some experience in largescale commercial catering is preferred.

A Customer and Event Assistant provides high-level customer service and assists in coordinating site operations during programs and events to a diverse range of clients to ensure client satisfaction.

At Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre  our clients range from children’s groups, athletes, sports teams, recreational groups, professional sports people, corporate and international groups to the general public. 

Your duties may include housekeeping, kitchen duties, bar service or the preparation and serving of food and beverages. We also use the Customer and Event Assistant to assist with the preparation of our on site accommodation.

A Customer and Event Assistant provides high-level customer service and assists in coordinating site operations during programs and events to a diverse range of clients to ensure client satisfaction.

At the Sydney Academy of Sport our clients range from children’s groups, athletes, sports teams, recreational groups, professional sportspeople, corporate and international groups to the general public. 

Your duties may include housekeeping, kitchen duties, bar service or operating either our café or kiosk which includes the preparation and serving of food and beverages. We also use the Customer and Event Assistant as gatekeepers at the athletics track and, if you have the qualifications, as a lifeguard at the pool.

A Customer and Event Assistant provides high-level customer service and assists in coordinating site operations during events to a diverse range of clients to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to venue rules.  

At the Sydney International Equestrian Centre the Casual Customer and Event Assistants are critical to the success of events. The work they do can include stable preparation, traffic flow and parking management, setting up and packing up of event-related equipment and providing site information as required. Weekday availability is essential and hard-working morning people are especially appreciated.
